The Fredman lab at Albany Medical College studies inflammation resolution and is interested in atherosclerosis and aging, and, of course, macrophages.

Dr. Yi-Pin Lin

The Lin lab at the Wadsworth Center, NY State Department of Health studies tick-born diseases, including Lyme disease caused by Borrelia burgdorferi. Collaborations are underway to investigate how co-infection with multiple pathogens impacts pathogenesis.

Dr. Margarida Barroso

The Barroso Lab uses high resolution and super-resolution microscopy to study endocytic trafficking and organelle-organelle interactions with a focus on iron metabolism in heath and disease. Current collaborations to study marrow macrophages are underway.
